Student learning styles inspire classroom transformations
Sarah learns best sitting at a desk in a bright, quiet space. But Emily is different: she prefers a reclining chair nestled in the corner of a softly lit room filled with calming music. The Dunn and Dunn Learning Styles Model states that every child's best learning environment is different.

This model inspired Flip This Classroom, a research-based classroom makeover program that measures how educational environments impact student performance. Each flip revives classrooms with new walls, windows, floors, furniture, teaching tools, and light and audio systems. The renewed classrooms are monitored to determine how the changes affect student achievement and behavior, as well as teacher morale.
