Something to chair about | Legat Architects plays chair hockey to help raise money for Special Olympics Illinois
[Chicago, IL] – Employees at Legat Architects got a little rowdy at Navy Pier’s grand ballroom last week. They faced off with other members of the Chicago-area architectural design and commercial real estate industries in Interior Investments’ Aeron Office Chair Hockey Tournament charity event.
Dance music played and business professionals banged on walls made of office cubicles while teams zipped around on office chairs and tried to score goals.
The event raised $38,500 for Special Olympics Illinois, which provides year-round athletic training and sports for more than 20,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
