The Campus Heart

The light-filled Student Commons that unites the campus serves as an activity hub and a gateway to student resources.

“Other staff members talk about how the changes not only make it much easier to get around, but also enhance the comfort and make it easier to see and connect with students.”

Fresh Food, Great Views

Café Willow, the project’s only addition, offers an expanded menu including foods harvested on campus, as well as views to the campus lake.

“Students no longer have to go searching for information. If they’re looking for something, it’s probably right here. Plus, teachers and students say it creates a far more professional atmosphere.”

One Point of Contact

The Welcome and One Stop Center streamlines processes by offering students a single point of contact cross-trained in the following service areas: Admissions and Recruitment, Registrar and Record, Financial Aid, and Advising and Counseling.

“The new LancerZone location, along with the full glass front and spotlights that highlight our merchandise, has resulted in much higher traffic with students, faculty, and staff stopping in often.”

The LancerZone Campus Store exhibits spirit wear, technology, and other goods in a contemporary retail environment.

“Throughout the project, there was a strong partnership between CLC, Legat, and Mortenson when it came to managing the day-to-day realities and not letting little things become big things.”
