Corporate headquarters design unites staff, showcases credit union brand
Community 1st Credit Union’s formerly dispersed administrative offices unite in a 28,500-square-foot headquarters next to a major expressway. A long, curved bar includes IT, HR, marketing, and other departments, while a rectilinear volume houses common functions such as training areas, conference rooms, and a large breakroom. The organization’s graphic standards and logo fueled the composition and design of the building, located in the company’s home base of Ottumwa, Iowa.
