Lancaster City Schools – 5 New Elementary Schools
New schools create district equity and reduce operations costs
Legat helped Lancaster City Schools pass an $88.7 million bond levy. The resulting work consolidated eight overcrowded schools into five new elementary schools totaling 383,000 square feet. All facilities are LEED for Schools Silver certified with the U.S. Green Building Council.
The five schools combined were completed $4 million under budget. Work also included abatement and demolition of eight elementary schools.
