LaSalle-Peru High School Model Classroom
Model Classroom responds to current teaching and technology needs, helps district pass $38 million referendum
LaSalle-Peru High School’s (LPHS) classrooms were severely outdated. Legat, in collaboration with Kmetz Architects, transformed a dated classroom into a Model Classroom that supports current teaching methodologies. Teachers and students participated in the planning of the space and offered input on everything from furniture to carpet samples.
The Model Classroom not only won over students and staff, but it also helped LPHS District 120 pass a $38 million referendum to carry over the upgrades to other classrooms.
