Additions and renovations organize, consolidate, and improve student service programs

Student service programs were scattered throughout the Moraine Valley Community College campus. The institution also needed more space for financial aid and student dining.

A 52,000-square-foot College Center renovation and a new, 34,500-square-foot Student Union improve efficiencies and streamline the registration process. The projects also better accommodate student organizations, improve the dining experience, and meet campus community needs for child care.

Child Care Center

The College Center renovation includes a child care program expansion from two to four classrooms. The old student services entry was transformed into a motor room. Its sloping glass roof, rubber flooring, and colorful scenery and wall padding create a durable environment where children can get activity and daylight year-round.
