An ER in 9 months

Time was of the essence for this project: start of design to construction completion took nine months. The architectural team finished the design concept, including renderings and elevations, in one week. The center connects to the Vista Surgery Center, also designed by Legat Architects.

A Freestanding Achievement

The State of Illinois gave healthcare providers a window of opportunity to create freestanding emergency centers in high demand areas. Vista responded with the new emergency center located next to its Surgery Center. The 7,000-square-foot Freestanding Emergency Center provides full-service, 24/7 emergency care in a patient-focused environment.
