Emily Sullivan

Associate

Emily Sullivan is an interior design associate based in Legat’s Quad Cities studio. Whether she’s working independently or with others in a team setting, Emily approaches each project with bold design ideas and a strong work ethic.

She kicked off her Legat career with renderings, research, and finishes for North Scott Community School District’s Regional Innovation Center in Eldridge, Iowa. She has also worked on graphics for several schools.

For her final studio project at Iowa State University, Emily and her team worked on a redesign of low-income student housing with food access to combat student hunger and the food desert of campus housing. Emily also worked as a seasonal intern at Village Home Stores, a home design retailer. There she created samples and consulted with clients about commercial and residential projects.

Her interior design journey began with helping her parents renovate rental properties. And like several of her Legat peers, she started thinking about a design career while watching HGTV.

Emily graduated summa cum laude with her BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University.
