Renovation projects pose several challenges: users vying for their own spaces, the need for a quick turnaround, and often, a tight budget. Joshua Crow has a talent for overcoming these challenges while refreshing outdated spaces.
Whether he’s giving TLC to a tired school or a tweaking a medical suite layout, Joshua balances an efficient working style with a focus on details to make sure each design responds to user needs and improves productivity.
Joshua’s daily tasks range from measuring job sites and modeling existing conditions to laying out programs and specifying schematic details such as cabinetry and fire code-related items. He has also worked on projects involving ADA upgrades and roofing replacements.
Unique to Joshua is his experience growing up on a campground—his family owns a camping resort that’s now in its 80th year. He also volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America as a merit badge counselor and fundraising champion.
Joshua earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in urban studies from Iowa State University.
