Valerie Pierce

Iowa State University grad Val Pierce joined our Quad Cities studio after an internship at a boutique firm in Davenport, Iowa. The small firm format gave her many opportunities not available to interns at larger architecture firms. She participated in all design phases for many project types, and regularly interacted with clients and contractors.

Val’s experience includes the design of homes made from shipping containers, renovation of corporate lobbies, documentation of a century-old building for historic preservation, and glazing and wall sections for a performing arts center.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State, where faculty selected her studio project as one of few to represent the architecture program during the accreditation process.
