After graduating from the University of Belgrade’s College of Architecture, Vesna Radovic worked at a Belgrade-based design firm that specialized in solar-powered facilities.
In 1999, she immigrated to Lake County, Illinois. Her work in the States has ranged from architecture and estimating to teaching the Serbian language at a private school. During these diverse experiences, she learned to work on a team with many different personalities.
Vesna joined Legat to fulfill a decades-long desire to work on healthcare projects. She has helped project teams address a variety of challenges such as ADA accessibility upgrades, life safety issues, and security enhancements. Her recent projects include an apartment complex makeover including ADA enhancements, as well as a new, 146-bed behavioral health hospital.
Outside the office, Vesna likes to garden, a passion that began on her Belgrade apartment terrace, where she tended many plants. She also helped plan for a renovation of her church as a member of its building committee.
