Sylvia Kowalk, Vuk Vujovic to Discuss Transformative Learning Environments at NeoCon 2017
Join us at NeoCon 2017 Chicago design conference to explore new ways of thinking about and developing educational spaces
Next Wednesday (June 14) at 1:00 p.m., Sylvia Kowalk and Vuk Vujovic will present “The Five Rules for Designing Transformative Learning Environments” at NeoCon 2017 in Chicago. The conference, which explores what’s new and what’s next, serves as the world’s premier platform and the most important event of the year for the commercial design industry.
“This year, we wanted to ‘break the mold’ relative to how Legat’s design process is presented and how we communicate ideas and concepts to our educational clients,” said Vujovic. “Our work focuses on the need to design adaptable, fast-evolving learning environments responsive to the constant changes in demographics, economy, technology, and pedagogy. We believe new educational spaces should function as a live organism, capable of adapting and evolving organically and offering educational experiences free from current constraints of space, furniture, and technology.”
Kowalk adds, “By introducing a new way of thinking and designing, interior design is becoming a supporting factor in education. We’re creating environments that evolve at the same rhythm as educational trends while supporting function, space, and the human body.”
