New hotel design revives set of construction drawings completed prior to the pandemic, transforms a select service hotel into an extended stay brand
This project maintained its entitlement approvals through the pandemic, during which Legat’s original client decided to list the property for sale to ensure that it moved forward. Deer Street Hospitality, LLC acquired the site and hired Legat to remove one story of guestrooms and find a way to fit the Homewood Suites room amenities into the original 12-6″ wide room bay.
The site is located within walking distance of Portsmouth’s downtown district.
