Hotel plans fine-tuned to create extended stay option in Mediterranean-influenced Gulf Coast village
Coconut Point Hospitality, LLC tasked Legat with transforming a previous developer’s hotel plans into a 123-room Residence Inn by Marriott. The 102,000-square-foot, five-story extended stay hotel includes family friendly lobby amenities, a fitness center, a meeting room, and an outdoor courtyard with a pool.
The design merges Estero’s Mediterranean/Spanish-inspired architectural standards on the exterior with Residence Inn’s brand standards on the interior.
The Village of Estero, located on Florida’s Gulf Coast between Fort Myers and Naples, was incorporated in 2014. It’s a popular destination for high-end shopping and dining as well as for exploring history and wildlife at its two state parks.
