Nicole Horn
Associate
Nicole Horn approaches her projects with patience and calmness, whether she’s working on a fire separation plan, a vestibule renovation, or a major retrofit. Based in our Gurnee, Illinois studio, she researches products and incorporates team input into building models. She also does quality control to make sure clients get what they expect.
Nicole played a key role on Harper College’s David K. Hill Family Library renovation, which revives a dark and dated space to create the most popular destination on campus. She also served as a core team member for transformation of a synagogue into the Buffalo Grove Community Arts Center. To convert the worship area into a theater, Nicole and her team raised the floor to create tiered seating and added an elevated control booth.
Nicole earned her undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University and her graduate degree at Judson University. In her spare time, she works on her hardest project yet: designing a dream home for her family.
