
Rachel Foster
Project Architect
Rachel Foster, AIA relies on her organizational skills to sharpen design details and resolve conflicts before construction starts. She helps clients move through the construction phase more efficiently and cost effectively.
Rachel’s portfolio ranges from residential and mixed-use facilities to a new casino and a net-zero agricultural complex. She also has experience reviewing accessibility standards and coordinating with accessibility consultants.
Rachel, a licensed architect, earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then obtained her master’s degree from Southern Illinois University while working full-time.
She contributes time to educating young people through programs such as AIA Chicago’s Architects in Schools program.
Rachel has played ultimate Frisbee on a competitive club since her undergraduate days. Several times, her team has qualified for the national tournament. Rachel has lived in six different states but has called Chicago home since 2013.
