Sammie Flagel
Interiors Associate
A professor of Sammie Flagel’s once asked her, “If you took out all the furniture and stripped off all the paint, what would you have to show?” Having taken that advice, she believes creating design moments that enhance user experience goes far beyond picking furniture and paint colors.
Whether her clients know exactly what they want or have no idea, Sammie does the research and asks the questions to create concepts that consider every aspect of the interior, from the floor to the ceiling and everything between.
Sammie joined Legat’s interior design team straight out of Kirkwood Community College, where she earned an associate’s degree in interior design. Her projects there included hospitality, healthcare, education, senior living, and retail facilities.
Sammie’s passion for interior design stems back to when she was 12 and watched HGTV with her grandmother. Her second passion is volleyball, but she also loves summer outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, and going to concerts.
