Whether building owners confront a code compliance issue, a roof leak, or a space shortage, Zach Wiese, AIA, LEED AP BD+C will help them achieve a cost-effective solution. Since joining Legat in 2000, he has worked on projects ranging from life safety/code-related fixes at healthcare facilities to $100 million high school expansions.
Zach has applied his deep knowledge of building codes to complete over 100 fire system evaluation studies (FSES) or find solutions to potentially costly code violations for nursing home and rehabilitation facilities.
Zach managed an expansion to Generations at Neighbors. The project involved four phased additions to a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. Since then, Zach has led three similar projects for building owner Generations Healthcare Network.
When he is not in the office, Zach enjoys volunteer coaching his daughters’ volleyball teams and playing disc golf. He also donates time to his church with activities such as mowing, religious education in the children’s department, and as a Financial Peace University coordinator.
Zach earned his architectural degree at the University of Michigan.
“Zach has worked with us on three large projects, and in each case, the end result is a masterpiece. We’re grateful for all of his knowledge, hard work, and loyalty throughout the years.” Kirsten Schloss, VP of physical plant and dietary services at Generations Healthcare Network
