New hotel design fine-tunes Hyatt Place brand, captures charm of historic New England seaport
A 144-room select service hotel brings the Hyatt Place brand to Portsmouth, a historic coastal community midway between Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine.
Hotel management firm The Olympia Companies tapped Legat for its expertise in modifying branded hotels to fit unique surroundings. The 98,000-square-foot hotel, sited on a former train depot, is part of a six-parcel development within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth.
HIGHLIGHTS
- South facade and corner details enhance pedestrian experience with architectural features including raised patio, canopies, and cast stone detailing
